Early M.Magrini performances were made in collaboration with the Computer Music Lab of CNUCE/CNR
(National Research Council of Italy),using originally developed gesture recognition systems.

An example of these devices is the UV-Stick: a short white stick illuminated
by an UV-lamp in front of a video camera.
The video camera is connected to a computer which translates the motion into real time
generated sounds.

Between 1995 and 2001 performances were based on various sound sources (analog audio signal
generators, geiger counters, VHF and VLF receivers, heart pulse sensors, etc.),
self built MIDI controllers, pre-recorded stuff, background videos.

More recent performances are a sort of hyper-dj set,
where real-time treated pre-recorded material is mixed
with real-time audio and computer graphics controlled by
self built gesture controllers.
